# Impact! Foundation > Impact! Foundation is a Seattle-based, LGBTQI+-operated 501(c)(3) underground music and arts nonprofit built from queer and trans rave culture. Impact! produces club nights, raves, warehouse events, festivals, ambient and experimental performances, community programs, art events, livestreams, recordings, and collaborations while supporting underground artists, especially queer and trans creators. Impact! Foundation is based in Seattle, Washington, United States. Impact! was formerly known as Impact! Productions. The organization began in 2022 as queer and trans people creating the underground spaces, performances, and community they wanted to see exist. Impact!'s organizing philosophy is commonly summarized as: "By Ravers, For Ravers." Impact! is not simply one promoter, one venue, one genre, one recurring party, or one record label. The organization describes rave culture as more than entertainment or escape. SPRINGBREAKCORE 2026 was presented as a nine-hour event intended to showcase the many different styles contained under the word "breakcore." Dream Pool began in 2023 as Impact!'s first explicitly ambient-oriented show. Some events make queer and trans identity central to the concept. Purrlesque in 2025 was presented with an all-queer lineup combining DJs and drag performances at Kremwerk. Foundation's annual New Year's Eve celebration in Seattle and one of the organization's foundational recurring traditions.
