SUMMARY:Shift Control
DESCRIPTION:Lock into the rhythm with us at Shift Control\, as we bring it down low and then take it on back high with appropriate aplomb. While previously\, Technocore has featured most of our midtempo dance offerings\, at this night we’re heading over in a new direction entirely with a much more open format\, featuring jersey club\, techno\, and even some banging DnB to close out the night. With our headliners from as far away as Germany\, it’s a night that you won’t wanna miss. Speaking of… \n-After lighting up Boiler Room last year\, EUROPA now joins us now in the states all the way from Berlin. Europa’s unique blend of pop stylings\, club bulldozers\, hard techno beats\, and ambient soundscapes creates an emotional\, blissful\, blistering\, sound of life lived without a rearview. And it makes sense; after all\, his music is composed almost entirely while in transit\, on busses\, trains\, and planes. Truly a first of a kind for Impact! and maybe Seattle as a whole 😮 \n–4103SD joins us from NYC\, representing a different side of the spectrum (which spectrum? The question is left up to interpretation for the reader) Known for everything from gabber to IDM\, this time they’ll be tilting towards the latter\, as they present an incredible blend of DnB\, breaks\, jungle\, and more to get you on the floor. I saw them perform live in NYC\, and immediately tried to find them after their set in order to get them out here. So you can’t have a better endorsement than that :3 \n-Back on the stage for Impact after over a year\, EEGODEATHS returns\, to bring more bangers to your ears. Eegodeaths has been bringing club\, techno\, trance\, drum n bass and more to audiences up and down the West Coast and to some of our favorite groups in Seattle. Needless to say\, we’re excited to have them back 🙂 \n-Seattle’s own JVCK BLVCK is with us once more\, after last seen getting the crowds jumping after Sakura-Con. While last time he showed us his mastery of J-Core and DnB\, this time he’ll be bringing only the best and maybe silliest jersey club bangers anyone has ever heard. Can’t wait to laugh and cry on the floor\, in equal measure :p \n-Up next is NOX.SIS\, who’s had a storied history with Impact\, playing DnB\, techno\, trance\, and even ambient for us\, but now brings a new sound to the stage with her blending of club and hard dance in order to get you dancing till close. With each set incredibly well thought out and full of deep cuts\, she’s not one to be missed <3 \n-And last but not least\, P1XXX1E makes her Impact! debut with some house and club bangers to get the party going. She’s been getting around Seattle\, playing DnB\, house\, club\, and techno\, but this will be her first big club performance\, and we’re excited to feature her for it c: \nCan’t wait to see y’all on the floor for SHIFT CONTROL!\n-Ev \nFlyer by Ev

SUMMARY:SPRING BREAKCORE SEATTLE
DESCRIPTION:Forget Miami\, everyone’s heading to what literally nobody ever has called the “Miami of the PNW” for SPRING BREAKCORE! Organized with the help of Fukdup Records\, 909 Worldwide\, Reactionary\, Spinkick\, and with sound\, lights\, and the warehouse generously provided by Kelcema Audio\, we’re bringing back the spirit of Interbayhemoth. International headliners\, a new warehouse(!) location\, massive sound and lights\, don’t miss out on what will be the breakcore event of the year in Seattle. And speaking of headliners… \n–PENCIL (JAPAN) Do you know footcore? Internet music DJs speak of it in hushed tones; breakcore and footwork mashed together like a child making their two favorite dolls kiss. The energy and chaos of breakcore with the intricacy and attention to rhythm of footwork\, it turns out\, fucking rocks– and Pencil was its torch bearer. Pencil’s no one trick pony\, though; browse his soundcloud for like two seconds and you’ll find dariacore\, tekno\, Autechre remixes\, or minimal dnb as per his Immateriality EP (big ups). Pencil has a knack for variety– in samples\, in genre\, in beats\, in mood\, in energy– and we can’t wait to show you what he’s got; DJs like these aren’t this side of the Ring of Fire all that often. \n–FRUMS (SEA) has been on the radar of the Japanese internet electronic scene for nearly ten years now\, a decade of commitment– nay\, fealty– to challenging the norms of rhythm game music. Frums is very easy to define in negation as a result\, but there is a core; rhythmic complexity\, a geometric veneer\, a love of chiptune and trackers\, an all-encompassing sentimentality. And\, perhaps most importantly\, it is One Of Us. It has the honor of showing us its vulnerability via live\, in-person performance for the first time in its decade-long career\, and we can’t imagine a better show for it to debut at. \n–OTHERMOON (JAPAN)\, our other man from Japan! Othermoon might not be as familiar of a name as Pencil\, but he is just as wild to see; his greatest bona fides are behind the scenes as the owner of the netlabel Otherman Records\, the staple for ravey\, erratic\, and mashy breakcore with a real who’s who lineup of the scene circa early and mid 2010s\, featuring DJ favorite artists like Captain Raveman\, Wan Bushi and DJ Kurara (among so many others\, and so many different styles\, jeez! If I were you I’d check out umio but you aren’t me I don’t think). Othermoon’s mixes mirror his label\, a real throw everything on the thumb drive and make it wickid kind of DJ. Labelrunners do it different for real. \n–LIL KEVO 303 (BOS) returns to Seattle for a show that promises to almost be as massive as the last one he killed at :3 Armed with new tracks\, the legendary hardcore/breakcore master of 909 Worldwide will be keeping it 💯💯 (that’s 200\, cause 200BPM xd) for us \n–JIMNI CRICKET (SEA)\, our hometown hero\, will be burning it down like she has since the 2000’s. Her unique quick mixing cheesy Happy Hardcore and DnB style mixed with her scratching mastery creates a experience that will leave your feet on the floor the whole night. She also has a regular show on c89.5\, Seattle (and the worlds!) longest running EDM radio station. \n–DEEJAY CHAINWALLET (NYC) is… wait a minute\, NYC? Yes\, one of the reasons our former perennial live hardware maestro has not been as perennial lately is her move across the country. But she is returning to the PNW for Spring Breakcore\, and we’re so happy to have her back! Her unique blend of acid\, breakbeats and breakcore\, hardcore and techno have been a personal favorite of mine\, so I can’t wait to see what she’s bringing this time \n–MRA9E (OLY) is pronounced like Mirage\, and represents the Olympia scene for this breakcore bonanza. Her dynamic sets draw from all kinds of genres\, fusing together a wide range of sounds depending on the crowd\, but with this set pushing her into harder styles. Expect jungle\, breakbeat\, hard trance\, and more\, but be ready for anything. \nCan’t wait to see y’all on the floor for Spring Breakcore! \n-Ev \nFlyer by Jill and Goo

This night\, she’ll be showing us Core of the J variety\, to get even the most fossilized dinosaurs moving. \n-Joining us from Portland for the first time\, HAPPY HALCORE brings a wonderful take on the PDX Hardcore sound\, blending gabber\, speedcore\, breakcore\, and more to create an insane atmosphere that will have you questioning everything you know about hard dance \n–JUNO THE BELOVED joins us to open up the night. Known mostly for her work doing live music\, techno\, drum n bass\, or behind the stage working the sound\, recently we’ve bonded over the more ridiculous\, harder sounds that we specialize in\, so we’re excited to have her join us for the first time :3 \nCan’t wait to see y’all on the floor for DAWN OF THE DINO DANCERS!\n-Ev

SUMMARY:FIRST ENOCH - Episode 1: Angel Attack
DESCRIPTION:Right here\, at the end of times\, the cherubs will sound their trumpets and the dancefloor will become the habitation of angels for the FIRST ENOCH. \nFIRST ENOCH – EPISODE 1: ANGEL ATTACK is the beginning of a new series of raves from Impact! that celebrates rave as a form of spiritual practice\, embracing the idea that the new queer enlightenment isn’t happening in churches but in night clubs\, in the streets\, and at parties. Join us for a themed experience where we take you through the microcosm of a rapture\, from the warmth and totality of blinding euphoria to the all-encompassing release of apocalypse. When the Earth is burning underneath you\, it’s time to don your wings and dance among the clouds. \nHighly encouraged to show up in your most angelic attire\, heavensent or fallen. Halos and horns\, wings of all makes\, all white or full goth\, embody the celestial energy held within you and pick your side for the eternal battle. \nThe six trumpeters that will usher in Armageddon are: \n– ALICEOFSIN is one of the founders of Impact! and the creative voice that helped me come up with First Enoch. Opening the night with a combination of pop-trance and jump-up\, she’s here to crack open the gate and let the light wash over us.\n– BUTTONZTHECAT is up next with a set full of high-energy tance and Hands-Up tunes that’ll lift you up off your feet. Immerse yourself in the nostalgic and up-beat as everything outside of the venue begins melting away.\n– MIYA LOWE (Sacramento\, fka. Evaboy/fgr sktr) is one of my favorite producers and an innovator in the realms of Bass music\, from Bassline to Footwork. With a unique sound that’s cloudy\, bitcrushed\, and eccentric\, we’ll be up in the heavens just in time to look down as the old world goes up in flames.\n– Local legend BUENAVISTA takes us on the next leg of our journey with devastating Drum and Bass and banging Juke. The pillar of light pulling you up begins to fade\, planting your feet back onto the ground as the totality of rapture sets in and the chaos becomes our playground.\n– ECLIPSE PROJECT settles us further into the long night with a set full of dark Drum and Bass and Neurofunk. The singed air is deep and heavy\, we’re in total darkness now\, and with everything gone there’s endless room to step and skank away the final days.\n– Olympia’s MRA9E takes us into the final wing of the evening\, parting the skies with a set blending Jungle and Trance to bookend the experience. The last trumpets call above and below\, it’s time to decide\, will you choose to fight for Heaven or Hell? \nCan’t wait to see y’all at the worlds-end dancefloor! 🤍🤍🤍 \n– Mia

SUMMARY:FreeTeknoCore
DESCRIPTION:For our first show back\, we’re giving you the taste of freedom once more\, with FREETEKNOCORE! FreeTekno comes from Europe primarily\, where it’s heavily rooted in soundsystem culture\, and\, as I would personally describe it\, is the bastard lovechild of hardcore\, techno\, and jungle. Running from about 180bpm to 200\, it’s an incredible sound that you won’t want to miss. Guiding us through the various subgenres of this sound are… \n–RIOTSUGARR from PDX\, bringing pounding hardtek with elements of sextrance and other genres\n-Seattle’s own VAST CHAINS who will be adding a dark\, grungy beat to the night for his Impact! debut\, mixed in with breaks and DnB elements\n–DISTEMPER23\, who will be bringing an all tribe tekno set\, which is a subgenre focused on the old school tekno sound\n–EXIMIOUS\, rounding it out with a fun blend of jungletek and hardtek\, showcasing the more euphoric melodic side of the genre. \nCan’t wait to see y’all on the floor for FreeTeknoCore <3
